Responsibilities:

• Exceptional ability to process and retain information.
• Understanding of the implications of major news and current affairs issues Malaysia & Singapore -wide and an ability to utilise that understanding to service our clients.
• Broad knowledge of Malaysian & Singaporean political & business landscape.
• An appreciation of the diverse requirements of the Malaysian and Singaporean-wide client base and an ability to optimise reading to meet those clients' needs.
• A commitment to excellence in service delivery to our clients.

Requirements:

• Media savvy, with a keen news sense.
• Strong English Language competency.
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is preferable.
• Experience in working flexible hours. Must be able to work on shift starting at 5:00am, weekends and public holidays.
• Capable of exercising judgement and pro-actively escalating system issues of concern.
• Strong comprehension of news issues and political/economic affairs.
• Solid comprehension, reading and analytical skills.
• Strong PC skills within a Windows environment.
• Demonstrated ability to focus on fine detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Ability to work without close supervision and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in working within a constantly changing environment.
